***** NOTE: When having a probono lawyer be really clear on expectations about how far you want to go with your complaint. Many free lawyer services will not offer their services for a hearing and will only be willing to go as far as a mediation meeting. So if you do want to go that far, just make your intentions known.
***** Also NOTE: Lawyers can be great for issues, like sending demand letters , for advice, or just asking them to write up your human rights complaint. Hiring a lawyer doesn’t automatically mean that it will be long term.
