If your child is not getting the support they need in school and are unable to access a fair and equitable education, you can always reach out to your local MLA’s office for help.

On a wider systemic level, they want to hear from their local constituents. What they hear from you, they then take further up the chain to other government bodies. Speaking up makes a difference.

Anything related to lack of funding, resources or inequality, please consider emailing your MLA. There was a lot of advocacy from parents and School Trustees about budgets, MLA’s are used to hearing from people about education. We need to keep them in the loop about the consequences of an under-funded system. They need stories to be able to pass along.
